Make so much money from Meta ads you’ll be swimming with profits</span>
90% of ads on Facebook and Instagram are created with no thought and little effort.
And that’s exactly what I was doing. I thought as long as I spent enough money, it didn’t matter what I wrote.
Money in = Money Out right?
Oh if only I knew how wrong I was…
I would have saved so much money and time in the process.
I did this until 8 months ago when I was shown the behind-the-scenes insights that allowed me to turn a money-burning nightmare into a well-oiled money-printing machine.
The answers are easily applicable to any kind of business.
Turns out Meta ads aren’t scams, I just didn’t know how the machine worked.
So that’s why I’m writing this, to hopefully save you some cash and get you started on actually making a profit from your Meta ads as soon as possible!
So before my discovery, I had been running my business for 5 months and I had made some money. Yes, not life-changing money, but still enough that I saw myself doing this for a living.
Next, I started thinking of ways to grow my business, and of course, Meta ads quickly came onto my radar. I saw everyone else running ads so that's exactly what I did.
I quickly found a picture, typed out some features and benefits of my work, and then I pushed it out into the world.
There are millions of people on Facebook and Instagram so, of course, I was going to get SOME sales right?
Wrong…
Very Wrong…
A week or two had passed and I spent some money but no one had bought or even reached out. I was targeting as many people as possible so what could be wrong?
Was it my product? Was it my writing? Was it all a scam?
None of it made sense.
It wasn’t until I connected with someone who had run successful ads themselves, that I was able to learn the anatomy of a successful Meta ad.
Okay enough about me, let’s get straight into how you can maximize your ad budget!
First things first, how’s the headline? You think it’s good?
Well, let’s put it to the test! Does it clearly call out to the target market, AKA the people most likely to buy your product?
Do they immediately see it and think “mmh this is for me!” If you only had the headline and a picture, would the ad make sense?
These are the things you need to test out. Bonus points if you can integrate your offer directly into the headline.
Example: “Tired of seeing more weeds than flowers on your lawn? Message us now and we’ll bring our weed eater to take care of your weeds, along with a free flower pot for your lawn aftercare”
The free flower pot is the unique offer and you know it from just reading the headline.
Now how about that creative of yours? Are you using a picture? A video? What about a carousel? This is the first thing your audience will look at.
It NEEDS to grab their attention and give them a reason to read. If your media looks like everything else on social media, then your audience is going to keep doing the worst thing possible, SCROLLING.
Lastly, let's talk about your offer and CTA. To give your ad the best possible chance of success, you must have a solid offer. It can be anything, you just need something.
Free shipping, buy 1 get 2, free quote, free inspection.
All of these work and give the reader a reason to act. The more unique and strong an offer, the better.
Connect this with a clear Call to Action such as “fill out this form” and you have an easy way for a lead to become a sale.
Now these are all high-level antidotes. There are still some technical details you need to know about. Not only that but how can you be sure that your ad meets all of these criteria?
I mean it looks good to you, but you’re not a marketing guru, right?
Do you want to be sure your ad is going to bring in clients and not drain your wallet for no reason?
