This Meta Ads Option Is Stealing Your Revenue
Remember seeing this for the first time?
If you were anything like me, you scrambled it up, gave it 10-15 minutes of solid effort, then left it sitting in a closet somewhere for the rest of eternity.
Meta ads look almost just as complicated.
You’re bombarded with so many choices - you have no idea what to pick.
And you know what’s even worse?
Meta knows about this!
In the next few minutes, I’ll explain to you how Meta is taking advantage of you, and how you can instead, take advantage of them.
Meta: The Marketing Manipulator
You’ve probably seen this button on Meta before:
Looks pretty convincing doesn’t it?
And that’s why millions of business owners use it.
Meta’s yearly revenue is over $100 billion because of it.
So it’s safe to say that their luring tactics are on point.
They made everything super complicated so you would pick the ONLY simple and promising option.
What business owners don’t know is that ‘boost’ is an ineffective way to spend money on ads.
They use it without ever realizing that they’re throwing money away faster than the speed of light.
Meta makes them seem like a toddler pushing away their food even if it’s been a day since they last ate something; they don’t know that if they don’t eat, it will harm them.
This Is What You Miss Out On If You Use ‘Boost’
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not like ‘boost’ does absolutely nothing; in fact, it can get you more exposure.
But that’s if you have a gold mine under your house and use it to print more money than the government (pretty unfair).
If that’s you, I encourage you to please dump as much money into ‘boost’ as your heart desires.
But for the vast majority of business owners, we need to be practical about how we spend our money.
And the issue with boosting posts is that you’re missing out on basically everything that makes Meta such a great way to get clients without spending a fortune:
You’re limited to only the post types that exist for organic posts.
You can’t effectively target a particular audience based on an action you want them to take.
You can’t add square photos, nor customize the headline or description.
You can’t run the ad on both Facebook and Instagram.
So… what SHOULD you be doing?
You NEED to use the Meta ads tools.
It gives you more options, more targeting and most importantly… RESULTS.
Please do yourself a favor and never use the ‘Boost Post’ option again.
How Much Will It Cost?
When you start using the tools to advertise, it’ll take some time before the Facebook algorithm starts to identify the relevant audience you’re trying to reach.
This is so that Facebook can optimize its targeting for your audience.
So it’s hard to say how much it’ll cost you.
But that doesn’t mean we start spending $1/day on Meta ads and triple the amount on coffee.
Like getting any good results for your business, it’ll take some investment and trial and error before you start making bank.
When we work with our clients, we have a simple goal: Get to the point where for every $1 you invest in advertising, you get at least $2 in return.
We do that by testing and tweaking consistently until we reach that goal.
