Example: one faucet job, start to finish.

A made-up plumbing job, run through the same builder. It shows the format, not a client result. Notice the after line only says what the crew checked at handover.

1

Before

The old kitchen faucet dripped when it was turned off.

2

The work

We replaced the faucet and checked the connections at handover.

3

After

The new faucet shut off without dripping during the handover check.

4

Evidence

A short handover video and the installation record.

The headline it writes

The shot it asks for

After: return to the same position and show the change. Job note: The new faucet shut off without dripping during the handover check. Evidence: A short handover video and the installation record.

Questions

Do I need the customer's permission?

Yes, for the photos and for any quote. Keep names, faces and house numbers out unless they say yes in writing.

What if the job didn't fix everything?

Say exactly what changed and nothing more. A smaller, true after line reads better than a big claim you can't show.

Can I use photos from a different angle?

Shoot the after from the same spot as the before. A different angle or better light makes the change look staged.
