Methodology

Data is collected via automated browser extraction of Google Maps search results. 10 results per query, 5 trades by 25 metros = 1,250 listings per collection run. Signals tracked: review count, rating, website link, booking link, post recency, photo count, and GBP completeness score (0-5). Q&A presence was tracked until Google removed the feature in December 2025. No data is estimated or interpolated. If a signal could not be reliably detected, it is noted in the report.
