Inspecting: You
  1. A page for this exact service

Open the website. Is there a useful page for the service you searched, with scope, process and a next step?

  2. A clear service area

Can a homeowner tell whether the business serves this town from its site or profile?

  3. Real work a homeowner can inspect

Look for original project photos with a short account of the work. A stock-photo gallery is not proof.

  4. An easy next step on a phone

On the service page, can you find and use the call or quote link without hunting? Do not submit a rival's form.

  5. Accurate public business details

Compare visible profile and site details: business name, phone, hours and service. Mark yes only after checking them.

  6. Helpful owner replies to reviews

Read the latest five visible reviews, or all if fewer. Are there useful owner replies? Record the dates and examples.

Review count, side by side

  • Your example crew24
  • Example crew A80
  • Example crew B45
  • Example crew C110

Middle rival: 80. You have 56 fewer.

A count is not a target and does not explain a ranking. Google says local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence.

How to pick your three.

  1. 1

    One job, one town

Search the job you most want more of, from where your customers are. Write the exact words and the place in the sign above the rack.

Example: "water heater repair Austin TX", searched from North Austin.

  2. 2

    Three real contractors

Take the first three businesses in the map results that do the job. Skip ads, directories and lead sellers. Those are not who you are up against for that spot.

Example: crews A, B and C above, all plumbers serving that area.

  3. 3

    Look, then mark

Open each profile and site on your phone. Mark "Has it" or "Missing" only once you have looked. Paste the link you checked in the notes.

Results change by place and by day. One search is a snapshot, not a town-wide ranking report.

Questions

Is this a ranking score?

No. It records what a homeowner can see on each business's site and profile. Google says local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence, and no public check can see all of that.

Why do I enter the numbers myself?

So nothing is guessed. There is no scan and no paid data. Every board on the rack is something you looked at, with a link you can go back to.

Should I fill out a rival's quote form to test it?

No. Check that the call or quote button is easy to find. Test only your own form.

Does this page save my work?

No. Copy your audit or download the PDF before you close the tab.
