Electrician SEO services, priced before the call.
ES Studios is an SEO company for licensed electricians. We set up the Google Business Profile that decides whether you show for "emergency electrician near me" and "panel upgrade [city]", we build a page for every service and town you cover, from service calls to panel upgrades to EV chargers and standby generators, and we wire up the follow-up that turns a search into a booked job. The website, CRM and on-site SEO are $297 a month, printed on our pricing page. Month to month, and you own everything we build.
What electrician SEO actually involves.
Electrical search splits three ways. Panic calls when something sparks or the power goes out. Inspector-triggered work with a deadline. Planned jobs like panel upgrades, EV chargers and generators where the homeowner spends weeks picking. The work covers all three, plus the part most agencies skip: making the license and the trust signals visible on the page.
Google Business Profile for electricians
Primary category set to Electrician. Secondaries for Emergency Electrician Service, Generator Shop, Solar Energy Contractor, Lighting Contractor and Home Automation Company where you cover them. The profile name is your real registered business name, with no keywords added. Keyword-stuffed names are the fastest way to a suspension.
A page for every service and town
"Panel upgrade in Riverside" and "EV charger installation in Corona" are different searches. Each one gets its own page with real detail about the job, the code, the inspection and the area. Emergency, service-call, panel, EV, generator and rewire pages stay separate.
License and trust signals on every page
Half of the trade is unlicensed and nothing on a search result tells a homeowner which half they are looking at. Your license number, insurance and inspection history go on every service page and on the profile, so a careful homeowner has a reason to pick you before they even ring.
Reviews on autopilot
A text request goes out after every call, while the customer is still happy the breaker stopped tripping. Steady new reviews every month is what Google rewards, and it is the first thing a homeowner reads before dialling.
Citations that match
Your business name, address and phone the same on every electrical directory that matters. A phone number from the old truck or an address that moved two years ago tells Google two different shops might exist, and that costs you map rankings.
Missed-call text back and reporting
You are up a ladder pulling wire and the call goes to voicemail. The caller gets a text back in seconds so the conversation starts before they ring the next electrician. Every month you see the calls, form fills and map positions in plain numbers, and you keep your own logins.
Three contractors, with the before and after.
None of these is an electrical shop. The method is the same: fix the profile, build the right pages, run reviews on a schedule, measure the map every month. Each case study is a full write-up with map scans, dates and what we changed. Your market, your trade and how long you stay all change what is realistic, and we will tell you straight on the call.
24% to 98% of the map in the top 3
A general contractor in western Washington. 165 of 169 grid points now rank in the top three, up from 40. Average map position went from 10.0 to 1.3 over eight months. Read the case study.
Calls from the profile up from 2.0 to 4.75 a month
A waterproofing contractor in Southern California. Top-three spots went from 5 of 169 grid points to 26, and the business now shows at 91 points, up from 55. Read the case study.
From nowhere on the map to the top 3 at 16 points
A flooring installer in Southern California that ranked at none of 169 points on day one. Eighteen weeks later it is top three at 16 and showing at 95. Read the case study.
The three things to ask any electrician SEO company, answered.
Electricians who got burned by an agency usually say the same three things. The phone never rang more, they could not get into their own accounts, and leaving was harder than signing up. Here is where we stand.
You own all of it
The website is a real WordPress site on your own domain. The Google Business Profile, the reviews and the customer list stay in your name. Walk away and you take every piece with you. Our ownership checklist lists what to ask any agency, us included.
Month to month
Monthly plans have no contract. Give us 30 days' notice and you are done. Annual plans are paid up front at three months free and are non-refundable. The full terms are in the service agreement, which you can read before the call.
The price before the call
$297 a month covers the website, CRM, missed-call text back, review requests and on-site SEO. Google Business Profile management is priced by how competitive your trade and town are, and you get that number on the call before anything is signed. See the pricing page.
When to hire someone else.
We built this for owner-run electrical shops with one or two locations. Some contractors are better served elsewhere, and we would rather say so here than on month three. We compared ten other agencies, with their prices, on our best local SEO agencies for contractors page.
You run many locations
Multi-state operators and private equity roll-ups need roll-up reporting for head office. Large agencies built for that are a better fit. We work best with a single shop or a small group of locations.
You need calls this week
SEO takes months to build. If the schedule is empty tomorrow, run Local Services Ads first and let SEO grow underneath them.
You want a full marketing department
Brand work, TV spots and direct mail are outside what we sell. We do search, reviews and the follow-up that books the job.
Questions electricians
ask us first.
The same answers we give on the phone.
Ours start at $297 a month for the website, CRM and on-site SEO. Google Business Profile management is quoted on the call, based on how crowded your town is and how many services you cover. Most contractor SEO agencies do not publish a price at all. Of the eleven we compared, three did.
Most builds take around 2 weeks once we have what we need from you. Map rankings move over months. In a mid-competition metro, top-three for the main electrical terms usually takes 90 to 180 days of steady work. Nobody can promise a ranking or a date, and we will not.
Primary is almost always Electrician. Secondaries depend on what you actually do: Emergency Electrician Service, Generator Shop, Solar Energy Contractor, Lighting Contractor, Security System Installer and Home Automation Company are the usual candidates. There is no "EV charger installation" category; that goes in the services list with photos and a dedicated service page. More detail on our electrician GBP categories guide.
They can, briefly, and then they get you suspended. The GBP name field must match your real registered business name. Adding "licensed and bonded" or your city to the end is the fastest way to a 3-week suspension, and calls drop to a trickle while you wait for reinstatement. We do not do it.
Yes. The site is on your domain, the Google Business Profile stays in your name, and the reviews and customer list are yours. If you leave, all of it leaves with you.
Monthly plans have no contract. You cancel with 30 days' notice. Annual plans are paid up front for the year and are non-refundable. Everything is written in the service agreement.
